David Whitehill Joins Logistics Plus as New Procurement Executive
Whitehill will head up sourcing solutions division and support global co-working space client.
ERIE, PA (January 10, 2017) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce that David Whitehill has joined the company to head up its Sourcing Solutions division. Whitehill will oversee all Logistics Plus procurement activities, including those that support its global client, WeWork®, the leading co-working space provider in the world.
Whitehill will work closely with Logistics Plus personnel, WeWork buyers, and vendors to achieve seamless, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of activities, from procurement to final delivery and installation of furniture and merchandise at WeWork locations worldwide.
Whitehill has over a decade of senior buying experience with global companies such as The Boeing Company, and GE Transportation. His background includes logistics and warehouse management experience with AVI Foodsystems and Erie Aviation, Inc. where he served as Director of Operations. Whitehill also served in the U.S. Marines for six years as an Aviation Supply Specialist.

Logistics Plus Opens New Warehousing Operation in Ontario, California
Facility provides over 277 thousand square feet of new warehousing and fulfillment space.
ERIE, Pa. (January 5, 2017) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce that it has established a new long-term, full-building warehousing and fulfillment operation at 1291 South Vintage Avenue in Ontario, California. The 272,448-square-foot building sits on 11 acres, 1.5 miles from Interstate 15, and features a fully secured yard, excellent freeway access, and 64 loading doors.
In addition to its new Ontario facility, Logistics Plus has an existing Los Angeles warehouse located at 2207 E. Carson Street in Carson, California. The expanded presence in Southern California was driven by the Company’s recent growth of supply chain solutions provided to WeWork®, the world’s leading co-working space provider, and increased demand from Amazon® retailers seeking third-party import, warehousing, and fulfillment services.

Logistics Plus Acquires DoorLogistics™ Door-to-Door Intermodal Solution
New platform, developed by SynchroNet Intermodal Services, provides enhanced container visibility, pricing, and support capabilities.

(December 1, 2016) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, announced today that it has acquired the DoorLogistics™ service of Virginia Beach, Virginia-based SynchroNet Intermodal Services, Inc. The purchase, which includes RateNow™ web-based optimization software, provides Logistics Plus and its customers with enhanced intermodal container visibility, more competitive pricing, and new operational support capabilities.
As a new addition to the Logistics Plus suite of technology-supported logistics solutions, DoorLogistics services will be offered primarily to third-party wholesale customers, such as brokers and freight forwarders. The bundled solution includes standard intermodal container (20’, 40’, and 45’) door-to-door pricing with operational and customer support services. This includes container tracking visibility, dedicated capacity, competitive pricing, and extensive power availability. DoorLogistics advanced automated systems manage all operational activities, including intermodal equipment reservations, document transmission, drayage, and rail line-haul. The embedded RateNow feature enables instant and optimized spot quotes for all single origin or destination door moves by checking more than 7 million tariff rates and 10 billion routing options to obtain the best rate possible.

Logistics Plus Successfully Completes C-TPAT Membership Revalidation
Customs Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT) status confirmed for another three years
ERIE, Pa. (November 29, 2016) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce its C-TPAT status has been maintained by meeting all of the required revalidation criteria examined as part of a recent U.S. Customs Border and Protection (CBP) audit. C-TPAT is a program implemented by CBP to strengthen international supply chains and to improve the U.S. border protection and security.
To become a certified C-TPAT member, a security profile that summarizes the procedures of securing the supply chain must be submitted. The Logistic Plus security profile was originally submitted and approved by CBP in 2003, and the company has remained a certified member ever since. Members must undergo a revalidation process every three years, and Logistics Plus continues to meet all of the necessary criteria, including:

Logistics Plus Helps Deliver Christkindlmarket to Chicagoland
Logistics Plus named as an official partner for the 2016 Christkindlmarket Chicago and Naperville
ERIE, Pa.
