Logistics Plus Acquires Lynx Fulfillment, LLC
All Lynx Fulfillment, LLC assets and employees will be rebranded as Logistics Plus Fulfillment Solutions
ERIE, PA (November 2, 2017) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, announced today that it has acquired complete ownership of Lynx Fulfillment, LLC. Prior to the acquisition, Lynx Fulfillment was partially-owned by Logistics Plus. As part of the agreement, Lynx Fulfillment will be rebranded as Logistics Plus Fulfillment Solutions (aka LP Fulfillment). Additionally, Patrick Randolph, the Managing Director and partial-owner of Lynx Fulfillment, has joined Logistics Plus to head up its fast-growing LP Fulfillment division.
Lynx Fulfillment is based in Olean, NY with over 40,000 square feet of dedicated warehousing and fulfillment space. It has a second 10,000 square-foot operation located in Carson, CA. The company, which specializes in customized pick, pack, and ship order fulfillment solutions, has over 60 clients and employs over a dozen experienced warehousing, fulfillment and customer service specialists. All assets and employees were transitioned to Logistics Plus effective November 1, 2017.

Logistics Plus selected as a member of the new IFLN Global Projects network
Logistics Plus will provide project forwarding services in Mexico and USA as part of the membership

The new network was officially announced on September 13, 2017 by Michel Vanlerberghe, president of the International Freight Logistics Network (IFLN).

Only cargo agents with experience and a high degree of capability in the field of project forwarding will form part of the rapidly expanding group. Governor Wolf Announces Logistics Plus, Inc. to Expand and Create 44 New Jobs in the City of Erie
HARRISBURG, Pa. (July 15, 2017) – Today, Governor Tom Wolf announced that Logistics Plus, Inc., a worldwide supply chain management company, will expand its headquarters in the City of Erie, and will create 44 new jobs.
“This expansion in the heart of the City of Erie will bring 44 family-sustaining jobs to a location in the center of the city’s downtown,” said Governor Wolf. “My administration has worked closely with Erie to support its growing business climate and this expansion project is another great investment for the region.”
The expanded facility will allow for the handling of all logistics for clients, from order intake to shipping and installation. Logistics Plus has committed to investing at least $1.2 million into the project, which will create 44 new, full-time jobs and retain 123 more positions statewide.
“It’s very gratifying to be able to create good-paying, fun and interesting jobs with a growing, cutting-edge global company right here in Erie, Pennsylvania,” said Jim Berlin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “Keeping talented people in the Erie area is good for the community and for the local economy.”
Logistics Plus, Inc. received a funding proposal from the Department of Community and Economic Development for $88,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits to be issued after the new jobs are created. The company has also been encouraged to apply for a $2 million low-interest loan from the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority.
The project was coordinated by the Governor’s Action Team, an experienced group of economic development professionals who report directly to the governor and work with businesses that are considering locating or expanding in Pennsylvania, with the assistance of the City of Erie’s Department of Economic and Community Development.

Cargo project involving the safe delivery of 200-ton stator from Poland to Turkey earns award for second consecutive year
