This is pretty cool. We were recently notified by Wikipedia that its article for Union Station (the global headquarters for Logistics Plus) was recently designated a “featured article” by the Wikipedia community (meaning it ranks as one of the best in encyclopedia). As we celebrate our 20th year of business, we continue our walk down memory lane by sharing the following Erie Times-News newspaper clipping from October 31, 2003. The article is a nice complement to the Great American Stations case study we shared on Wednesday because it covers the announcement of when Logistics Plus purchased an old, vacant train station in downtown Erie, PA in anticipation of making it our global headquarters. Thanks to significant renovations and development, that old train station is nothing like it was back in 2003. Some of you might enjoy this old article since it details an important turning point in the history of Logistics Plus, the Erie Union Station, and downtown Erie, Pennsylvania.
