Ankush Rajurkar, COO for Logistics Plus India, recently presented at the Chief Operating Officer Summit & Awards 2018 event in Mumbai. Ankush’s presentation at the COO summit was titled “Business is all about Managing Stakeholders” and a copy of his presentation slides are available here. In his presentation, Ankush noted that business is all about meeting the expectations of multiple stakeholders. Business leaders need to learn techniques for identifying stakeholders, analyzing their influence on a company’s business, and developing strategies to communicate, set boundaries, and manage competing expectations. The presentation included a Logistics Plus 4PL case study that incorporated many of these ideas.
In case you missed it, Joe Santone, senior vice president for Logistics Plus, was featured on today’s airing of Business Spotlight on WPSE AM 1450/FM 107.1 Radio. Business Spotlight is a 30-minute program airing Fridays at noon. Each segment focuses on a business or organization that is making an impact across the region.
In this month’s segment, Joe discusses Logistics Plus and its relationship with sister company NTL, domestic transportation, warehousing, freight agents, and more. You can listen to a replay of the interview on the Logistics Plus YouTube Channel below.
Last week, several Logistics Plus employees participated in a wing eating contest at Quaker Steak & Lube in Erie, Pennsylvania. The contest consisted of four teams, each made up of four brave employees who took on the challenge of eating six “Triple Atomic” flavored chicken wings. Aside from the competitors, there were a handful of other LP employees who each tried one of the blazing-hot “Triple Atomic” wings.
