Francisco Tijerina, Director of Logistics Plus Mexico, was featured in the July 2024 Voice of the Independent newsletter. On page 6 of the publication, Francisco discussed the challenges for Latin America’s small-to-medium-sized enterprises in the post-COVID era.
Francisco commented on how the current global trading situation has proved beneficial to Latin America. “For years, countries in the region have been working to get a more open market system, negotiating Free Trade Agreements among the close-by nations, as well as participating in negotiations with the strongest countries in every continent.” Francisco added, “These initiatives have put them in an ideal situation to mediate commercially between China and the United States.”
