Logistics Plus (LP) Senior Vice President Gretchen Seth was named by Global Trade magazine to its 2022 Women In Logistics list as one of “10 Leaders Who Are Truly Reshaping Their Industry.”

Global Trade says the following about LP’s Seth:

“A key leader at the transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, global logistics, business intelligence, technology, and supply chain solutions company, Seth has more than 40 years of industry experience. That she spearheads business development, implements programs for some of the company’s largest clients, and provides international logistics expertise to the freight forwarding division are enough to put her on this list.

What sends Seth over the top is her charitable work, which includes helping launch a fundraising campaign in March for refugees of Ukraine, where Logistics Plus had 50 employees. As of April, nearly $600,000 had been collected, and she even traveled to Poland to help distribute the aid.

During the height of the pandemic, Seth helped create the LP Medical division that leveraged the company’s overseas resources to source, import, warehouse and deliver more than 2 million pieces of personal protection equipment for hospitals, government organizations, and companies in dire need.”

On behalf of everyone at Logistics Plus, congratulations to all ten honorees:

  1. Kristy Knichel: CEO and owner Knichel Logistics, Pittsburgh, PA

LP Saudi Arabia Assists With Oil Refinery Project

LP Saudi Arabia Assists With Oil Refinery Project

The Logistics Plus Saudi Arabia team successfully handled a break bulk shipment from the Czech Republic to Saudi Arabia. The shipment moved on a door-to-door basis from the supplier in the Czech Republic to an oil refinery plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The two crates, weighing a combined 71 tons, were transported on a RORO vessel to Jeddah. Upon arrival at the port, the team cleared customs and loaded them on a truck for final delivery.

Logistics Plus Saudi Arabia Country Head Nizam Mohammad commented on the project. “Our team was able to execute every leg of this project successfully. The pickup, loading, customs, and delivery of the shipment all went smoothly. I want to thank our team and partners for their support.”
