Blaine Kurtz, director of aerospace and defense for Logistics Plus, attended the NDTA U.S. Department of Defense Annual Transportation & Logistics Forum last week to further introduce Logistics Plus to the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) community, and to deepen our involvement within the aerospace and defense industry. The annual forum provides an opportunity for USDOD service providers to meet with high level and grassroots transportation and logistics government personnel. The USDOD presents their “state of the union” on defense topics, their needs for near and future requirements, and provides a setting for service providers to offer and discuss their solutions. The event was attended by approximately 600 service providers and 600 USDOD participants. Shown below is a photograph of the forum exhibit hall and the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff for the USDOD.

Last night, a small group of Logistics Plus representatives attended the Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA) 112th Annual Event at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, PA. As a long-time member of the MBA, and as the company that manages the MBA Logistics Program on behalf of MBA members, it was an honor, once again, to sponsor and attend the annual event. Logistics Plus was one of a handful of proud corporate sponsors for this year’s event which featured legendary coach and analyst, Lou Holtz, as the keynote speaker. Here is a short slideshow with some photographs from the Logistics Plus Flickr page:
