Logistics Plus successfully transported four autonomous shuttles from Orlando, Florida, to Honolulu, Hawaii. For this project, Logistics Plus was responsible for the inland transportation of the shipment at the origin and destination. Our team transported the shuttles from Orlando to San Diego port and then from Honolulu seaport to Honolulu airport.
The shuttles measured 187.2″ L x 82.68″ W x 103.94″ H and weighed 7,606 lbs. each. Two conestoga step-decks were used for the inland trucking, as two shuttles were on each vehicle. The autonomous shuttles were picked up on February 16th and were delivered on March 4th.
Upon delivery of the shuttles, the client sent the below testimonial to our team:
“I just wanted to reach out to say thank you to the Logistics Plus team for everything. You made what was a stressful and new process for us seem easy! I appreciate you answering all my questions and for your support in helping us get over the hurdles. You have been a pleasure to work with, and I’ll be in touch when we are ready to ship these back to the mainland. Thanks again, and Mahalo!” -Project Administrator
