On Friday, June 28th, Logistics Plus celebrated the first annual National Logistics Day at our Global Headquarters in Erie, PA. Logistics Plus helped to create National Logistics Day as a way to recognize and appreciate the importance of the logistics industry in both our national and global economies. At its inaugural event, Logistics Plus was pleased to host local politicians, customers, vendors, partners, and guests. The event featured city-, county-, state- and U.S.-level National Logistics Day proclamations; a short video presentation; sponsorship announcements; open-house tours; giveaways; the Logistics Careers Plus More For Dummies book launch; and more! We look forward to celebrating this new national holiday for many more years to come!
Prior to the event, Scott Frederick was featured on WJET 1400 Erie News Radio alongside Erie Mayor, Joe Schember. The two discussed the importance of the logistics industry and the role Logistics Plus has played in creating jobs in Erie. The complete 10-minute interview can be heard by clicking on the icon below.
